Nothing Better Than Free Food

Tonight, I went to the Cheesecake Factory with my sister and one of my friends. My friend was taking me out, her treat. There was no way I was going to refuse that. This was my first time going to the cheesecake factory. I have only heard about how great it was. After waiting about 1/2 hour to get seated, because the place was so full, we finally got our seats close to the back of the restaurant. I must say, It was a nice place indeed. My sister ordered an appetizer that was some type of corn bread with a topping of guacamole, sour cream and all the other nacho chip toppings... I wasn't feeling it. My friend got the salmon rolls which were really great. They reminded me of Thai spring rolls filled with salmon. They were quite tasty if I do say so myself. For my entree I ordered "Jumbo Chicken Chop". It looked and smelled delicious. It came with mash potatoes and string beans.
But there was a slight problem. The sauce that they gave me had bacon in it. I do not eat any pig products. After letting my waitress know the problem, she proceed to take my food back to the kitchen to change my order. When my food was brought back to me, it was the same piece of chicken that was just soaked in the bacon filled sauce, just on a nother plate. There was no way that I was going to eat that. Luckily, the manager came walking by and I told him my troubles so he allowed me change my order and made it complementary.
Ymmmmmmmmm... Free food, its always great. I decided to have a nice big slice of white chocolate macadamia nut cheese cake. I left that place feeling like a fat slow with 2 take home containers in my hands.
It was all worth it. When you have time, and the money........ Go eat at the Cheesecake factory. It's delectable!

DC BLOGGER MEET UP

I decided to start my own blog after attending the DC Blogger Meetup. I must say, i didnt expect to have as much fun as I did. See, i just wasnt up on this blogging thing. Everyone i lived with blogged, but i just didnt have the time to waste. I was too busy. Between sleep, class, myspace, thefacebook, IM's and more sleep, I was way too occupied.
When my sister invited me to come along with her to the meet, i only went for laughs. I just knew i was going to have more fun laughing at the people than with them. Little did i know, I was about to meet some well established, or almost there... educated people with interest much similar to mine. I was instructed by Brutha Code to have my blog up by the next day. Of course its not the next day, but here i go... 4 days later.

My 1st Post

My first real post is going to be great.... Just wait till i figure this thing out.
